Hooded Warbler
The last two days at Garret Mountain have been pretty good. It still hasn’t been a “birds dripping off trees” type day yet, but the diversity is improving and there have been a number of the highly sought Warblers around. I had a Cerulean Warbler on the 3rd (18 total Warbler species that day) which is a tough bird at Garret, along with favorites Cape May and Blackburnian Warblers. Yellow-throated Vireo was a nice sight along with the very photogenic Black-throated Green and Blue Warblers. I am just going to list some of the shots I have gotten over the last couple days. The next 2 weeks are my favorite weeks of the year! Good to see many familiar birder faces as well! Good Birding!
